Japanese-inspired dollhouse folding screen laser cut files

Divide a miniature room without hiding its detail. Three ornate room-divider designs unfold across four panels each, using pierced wood faces over structural frames and maker-supplied textile hinges.

Digital download only: SVG/DXF alternatives and PDF instructions. No physical screens, wood, cloth or paper are included.

Three complete designs

  • Chrysanthemum & Fan: floral medallions, open fans, halo rings and curled leaves.
  • Sakura & Lattice: cherry branches and blossoms in crossed-ribbon lattice.
  • Waves & Pine: nested wave arcs, pine forms and moon-ring accents.

What's in the ZIP

24 main wood pieces: 12 structural frames and 12 decorative faces. Separate 3.000 mm and 3.175 mm structural editions pair with 1.000 mm detail files. An 18-page illustrated guide, quantities, maps, CAD previews and fit/detail samples are included.

Size and folding assembly

Scale: 1:12. Each four-panel screen is 145 mm high and approximately 166 mm wide when laid straight, including hinge gaps. Its standing footprint depends on the accordion angle. Alternate the flexible hinge direction as shown. Optional translucent paper backing is a hand-cut maker addition.

Each edition supplies six original main sheets for all three designs, cropped within 495 × 279 mm. Check your machine's usable area and keep the supplied millimetre scale. Score before cutting, support fine lace during handling and test the material first. No automatic laser settings or kerf presets are included.

Digitally checked prototype, not physically cut or assembled. Developed with AI assistance. Generated finish images are illustrative; CAD and the vectors define the woodwork. Use the guide and maps for part identification.
