Create Ocean Cathedral, a layered humpback whale shadow box featuring a mother and calf, sea turtle and coral reef. SVG files combine cutting paths with raster engraving; DXF files provide cut-and-score alternatives. Digital download only; no physical shadow box is shipped.

Ocean Cathedral combines a naturalistic humpback mother and calf with a detailed sea turtle, an engraved ocean backdrop and twelve layers of reef and frame. Natural branching coral, folded plates, a sea fan and a low coral ledge are cut as organic silhouettes with image-engraved texture. Concealed spacer columns make the animals appear suspended.

Designed for 3 mm or 1/8 in laser-safe plywood, using one thickness. The smaller edition fits published Glowforge Performance and xTool P2/P2S honeycomb areas when turned sideways. The larger edition requires a P2/P2S slatted bed or another suitably sized machine. Verify actual engraving margins. Not sized for Glowforge Aura or Spark.

The realistic surface detail is raster image engraving. It is not a carved 3D mesh. DXF files do not contain the photographic engraving; use SVG for the full registered job. Finish and tonal contrast depend on your material, laser and image-processing settings.

Files have been digitally checked; no physical sample was cut for this release. Test the supplied coupon and a complete sample before production. Images are digital previews. This original design combines AI-generated engraving artwork with custom layered fabrication geometry.
